To comply with the latest on line credit card security The Chandelier and Mirror Company uses Protx to handle all credit card transactions. Once you have placed your order you will be automatically transferred to the Protx secure server to make your payment. Once the transaction is completed you will be automatically transferred back to this site. The Chandelier and Mirror Company do not hold any customer's credit card details.

Protx was founded in 2001 and now provides secure online credit card and debit card payment solutions for thousands of online and mail order businesses across the UK.

Protx are a fully approved payment processor and were one of the first payment gateways to gain approval under the Visa Account Information Security Audit and MasterCard Site Data Protection audit. Protx are audited by an independent company to ensure that we are up to date with the latest encryption and security standards and that we comply with the stringent standards set out by the card schemes. Protx ensure that transaction data is kept secure at all times. All transaction information passed between merchant sites and the Protx VSP Systems is encrypted using 128-bit SSL certificates. No cardholder information is ever passed unencrypted and any messages sent to your servers from Protx are singed using MD5 hashing to prevent tampering. You can be completely secure in the knowledge that nothing you pass to the Protx servers can be examined, used or modified by any third parties attempting to gain access to sensitive information. Protx have multiple private links into the banking network that are completely separate from the Internet and which do not cross any publicly accessible networks. Any cardholder information sent to the banks and any authorisation message coming back is secure and cannot be tampered with.

All information you give to The Chandelier and Mirror Company is stored securely, and is not accessible to other users. Rest assured that any information you give to The Chandelier and Mirror Company will not be distributed to any other company.We are committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998). We collect information to process your order and to keep you updated with any new products that we can provide if you wish us to do so. We will also e-mail you to keep you up to date with your orders. We do not however send random marketing emails to personal email addresses (spam)
